More than 350 million pairs of ECCO shoes have stepped on Earth since 1963, when Karl Toosbuy founded the company in Denmark. ECCO is one of the few large footwear manufacturers in the world that own and control every step of the manufacturing process – from the processing of the leather to the manufacturing of finished goods in its own factories and to the delivery to its stores.
The philosophy of ECCO Scandinavian design, namely “The shoe must follow the foot”, guides the entire company.
ECCO creates comfortable, functional, elegant footwear, bags which are always in trends, accessories, belts, wallets and footwear maintenance products.Since its founding, the headquarters of ECCO is in Denmark and employs more than 19,500 persons from 50 nationalities around the world. ECCO products can be found in the 1,100 ECCO stores and in other 14,000 points of sale in 91 countries.
